The Cu Chi Tunnels are a sprawling underground network spanning over 200 km. They symbolize the resilience and creativity of the Vietnamese people. Located about 60 km from Saigon, Cu Chi was one of the most intense battlefields during 1960–1972.
While visiting Cu Chi, you'll learn how guerrillas dug, lived, and fought in these tunnels. You'll gain insight into the determination and ingenuity of the Vietnamese in overcoming sophisticated weaponry.
You can watch a documentary on self-made weapons, bamboo traps, and the construction of the tunnels before crawling through the tunnels yourself. You’ll also witness how the locals produce rice paper and rice wine.
