Oh what a fantastic way to spend 45 minutes with the family in Saigon. We loved the show and yes it's all in Vietnamese but you're in Vietnam. Charming, funny and we all left with a smile on our face. Also good value souvenirs on the way out. Thank you Johnny for this great experience!

Though the show is thoroughly in Vietnamese, the puppet show was very easy to understand because of the huge actions. The puppetiers are very skillful, making no mistakes at all. And the musicians are wonderful. Very good experience.
Simply amazing! You need to get the leaflet to understand the programme lineup. Otherwise, you won't be understanding any of it as the matter of fact the show continues in the Vietnamese language. The show is about the Vietnamese culture and life representation using puppets. There are shows daily at 5 pm & 6.30 pm(I am not sure pm show about the 7.45 pm show) and lasts for 45 minutes each show. Front seats are better and cost more.Would do it again with Johnny Tours
Good experience in Theater, even through, don’t understand Vietnamese, but you can enjoy the traditional music and amazing player.

Water puppet theatre is something every visitor needs to see when visiting Saigon. The puppet movement was magnificant, live musicians great and front rows of audience ended up wet 😀
The movement of the water puppets is magnificent. Very lively and great to watch. The music played by the live band was a great connection to the show. Even though this show is in Vietnamese that didn’t matter because the water puppets and music were more than enough to entertain anyone from the age of 3-99 year old. The puppets seem quite simply decorated but it makes it more authentic. The show is 50 minutes and has mini short stories. I would highly recommend watching this show, it is so different and is extremely memorable! You can buy tickets at the box office next to the theatre, they seem to have two showing times of 5pm and 6pm.
A very unique show. Although all the contents are spoken in Vietnamese, it is still very easy to understand. It's very interesting and diverse. A demonstration of Vietnamese agriculture and tradition. If you haven't seen the water puppet show, you must visit this show in Ho Chi Minh City.
This is a traditional Vietnamese puppet show performed in water, with live music accompaniment. The puppets depict the story from the songs during the show, which reflects the peaceful life of the Vietnamese countryside, so its not difficult to understand whats going on. There's a puppet outside the entrance which is good for photo ops 😍
I went to there 3 times with my friends. The water puppet show is very popular. Recommend as a hidden spot for sightseeing in HCMC. In the evening, many tourists come by sightseeing bus.
